VWAP indicator for NinjaTrader 8

Description

This Volume-Weighted Average Price (VWAP) indicator for NinjaTrader 8 extend the capabilities of the VWAP indicator that comes with the NinjaTrader 8 Order Flow +.

With this indicator, you can chose the VWAP reset interval from:

• Session : for daily VWAP interval (example)
• Week : for weekly VWAP interval (example)
• Month : for monthly VWAP interval (example)
• Quarter : for quarterly VWAP interval (example)
• Year : for yearly VWAP interval (example)

This VWAP product comes with a VWAP indicator from which you can select the desired reset interval and it also comes with a dedicated indicator for each available reset interval. These dedicated VWAP reset interval indicators are useful to setup a specific layout per interval by saving a template for each. For example you can save your preferred settings in a default template for the daily VWAP indicator and save different settings as default for the weekly VWAP. This way, when you add the daily VWAP indicator, it will automatically load with your preferred settings and the same will happen for the weekly VWAP.

This indicator also allows you to draw the previous reset interval values by extending them until the end of the current interval.

You can customize a label to make it easier to identify what each line represents. The label could be a custom text pre-fix and can include the current price value.

With this indicator you can set up to 9 different standard deviation lines. This allows you to define lines and use them for triggering an alert before price reach an area of interest for your trading.

For more precision all VWAP indicators, except the yearly VWAP, do the VWAP calculation in the background by using a 1 minute data series, so you will get the same granularity precision on a 30 minute chart as if you were using a 1 minute chart. The yearly VWAP indicator use the actual chart interval bars to calculate the VWAP.
