How to update Instant alerts on mobile devices to version 2

The version 2 introduces a new license validation system and your existing Pushover credentials will need to be reentered.

Step 1: Install the License Manager

The ASCENDO License Manager validates your product licenses and must be installed before using any ASCENDO products.

Note: If you’ve already installed the License Manager, skip to Step 2.

Otherwise, follow these instructions to install it.

Step 2: Save your Pushover credentials

You’ll need to re-enter your Pushover the default template after installing version 2.

1. Open the NinjaTrader Control Center window
2. Select Tools → Settings → General in categories
3. Click the Share services parameter field
4. Under the Configured section, select Pushover
5. Copy and save your User Key and Application Token values

Tip: You can also retrieve these values from the Pushover.net website if needed.

Step 3: Download the update

1. Sign in to your customer area
2. Navigate to My account → My downloads
3. Download the Instant Alerts on Mobile Devices version 2 zip file
4. Note the location where you saved the file

Step 4: Install the new version

1. Open the NinjaTrader Control Center window
2. Select Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On…
3. In the Import File Explorer window, navigate to where you saved the product zip file
4. Select the product zip file and click Open
5. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the installation
6. Restart NinjaTrader if required

Step 5: Re-enter your Pushover credentials

1. Open the NinjaTrader Control Center window
2. Select Tools → Settings → General in categories
3. Click the Share services parameter field
4. Under the Configured section, select Pushover
5. Enter your User Key and Application Token values

Update complete! Your Instant Alerts on Mobile Devices is now running version 2.
